My 6 week wellness challenge
Hi Wellness lovelies!There has been a bit of a break here on The Wellness Plate, My life has been busy with exams and Birthday fun. Finally its the Uni break (I’ve got 6 weeks off yippee!) and so Iv’e decided that its time to do a complete health overhaul. My health has slacked quite a bit over the past month, and I’m feeling low, groggy and emotional. But that’s all about to change. Live below the line: $2 a day
Hi Lovelies! I will be embarking on “Live below the line” next week, and I wanted to share with you a bit about it, and why i’m doing it. Basically live below the line is an initiative to increase awareness of poverty, and how it affects food choices for the poor. Its also a personal journey to discover what it is like to live on the poverty line. The challenge is to live on $2 a day for food for 5 days. Movie Monday: The truth about Food
Good morning! I hope everyone had an amazing weekend, I had a lovely relaxing Sunday which was well needed after my big assignment was due last Thursday-Glad that ones over. One of the things I did over the weekend to relax was watch a few food docos, one of the ones I found was a series of 6 docos for BBC on the truth about food. They do a bunch of studies (None of which appeared particularly scientific) however were very interesting.
